Welcome to Super Countdown! Super Countdown is an application I wrote to act as a timer, for both counting up and down. Fairly complete help is available via Balloon Help and the included Apple Guide file. To turn on the balloons, select Show Balloons from the Help menu (the one near the upper right hand side of your screen that has a question mark in it...). To access the Apple Guide, you must be running System 7.5 or later. If you are, the guide will show up under the Help menu.
The basics: open up the program and choose Set Timer from the Timer menu. Use the pop-up menus to select hours, minutes, and seconds. Click OK, then press Start on the button bar or select Star Timer from the Timer menu. The timer will alert you when the time is up. You can also count up by selecting Count Up from the Mode submenu, under the Timer menu. Then select Start Timer from the Timer menu and Super Countdown will count up for up to 10 hours.
I would love to hear your comments, good or bad, about Super Countdown. Also, feel free to distribute this on a CD collection, but don't distribute it with commercial software packages without my permission. Otherwise, give this away for free (and ONLY free) to your hearts content.
